What are you sinking about? – Inspired commercial!
Sometimes it is hard to understand where all the money goes when big companies have creative ad agencies producing absolutely pants commercials for them, but sometimes you get moments of genius. This is a Berlitz language schools advert which makes fun of a German coastguard misunderstanding a British ship’s radio officer.
The ad that probably failed: Lips that touch liquor shall not touch ours!
Take a look at this amusing picture to see what you are missing out on if you drink alcohol! I am guessing this was some kind of Prohibition advert in the roaring twenties, though I think people may have been driven to drink in order to avoid any lip touching with these old dears.
