10 reasons to be happy about Britain’s coalition government

I happened upon this amusing political article he wrote about why Britons can be happy about this Tory and Lib Dem coalition. Apparently the Lib Dems have dropped their idea of asking immigrants to live in Scotland, which sounds so ridiculous it must have been made up, but truth is, once again, stranger than fiction. Also check out numbers 8 and 9 for a giggle.

A witty post on the religions of the world

Could you think of a couple of words to sum up each of the main religions of the world? Well some genius philosopher has and here are his succinct pearls of wisdom. If I was to guess which religion he sympathised with most it would have to be Rastafarianism, but he also covers Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Taoism, Islam and many more.

All those born in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s – we made it

For all the kids born in the 1930′s, 40′s, 50′s, 60′s and 70′s !!

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn’t get tested for diabetes.

Some jokes about English May Day celebrations and Morris Dancers in general

Here is a funny joke and a BBC comedy sketch, featuring Bhangraman, skewering the ancient English art of Morris Dancing. I hope this doesn’t offend any Morris dancing readers of this blog. I heard recently that in some villages in England that the rugby team often resorts to going pub to pub Morris dancing in the summer, so be careful if you dish out to a Morris dancer, you may be biting off more than you bargained for.

How to lay people off in the least politically correct way possible

Here is a short joke that combines political incorrectness with the need to lay a member of staff off. It throws in the battle of the sexes for good measure and we are left with a little word play that makes for some amusing reading, so enjoy today’s funny joke!

The Biker bar with handjobs on the menu

It seems that handjobs are involved in lots of funny stuff, whether it be great ways to get a grip, like a couple of weeks ago, or as menu items, as in today’s cheeky joke. I hope you enjoy this witty joke, see how you think it stacks up to the other funny post about handjobs.

Happy St George’s Day. Here are some jokes to help celebrate.

As the English aren’t very good at celebrating St George’s Day, especially compared to the Irish and St Patrick’s Day. So to try and make up for it I have a few funny English jokes and videos for you today. If you know any St George’s Day jokes please post them in the comments box below.

Happy birthday Queen Elizabeth II

To celebrate the queen of England’s birthday we have a joke about Queen Elizabeth II and Dolly Parton. Whilst a bit saucy, no offence is meant to any royalist Brits, it is all in good fun.

A little religious humour to start off the week

Here is a funny real life story where two people try to manipulate the Lord’s Prayer to fit their own needs. It is common for people to take quotes and statements out of context in order to suit their own needs (lawyers make a living bending language) so it is funny to see it done with a sacred prayer.

A few funny reasons why we love the Brits

Here are a few articles from British newspapers that show just why the eccentric Brits are always good for a laugh. It just seems that these strange stories always come out of those green islands in the north west of Europe. Enjoy…
