With modern technology it is hard for a mistake to occur without someone having a camera ready to capture the moment. Many people have a compact camera or camera phone with them when they go out and this can be a good thing. How else could this funny image have been captured for posterity otherwise? Whilst putting up a sale sign at some large store the first digit has been dropped, leaving a rather un-inviting sign declaring “Sale, 0% off selected items!“. I am sure the mistake was soon fixed, but somebody had the presence of mind to snap a funny photo first and here it is:
