There are continuous arguments in Starbucks coffee houses, offices and internet forums about which is the best operating system and why. To be perfectly honest I think the main issue is to find what you like, understand and find intuitive and then use that. Others, however, feel the need to preach the qualities of their favoured operating system and try to convert others. Sometimes it feels like you are talking to Jehovah’s Witnesses as you hear them sing the praises and decry the competitors. Well I found a rather amusing image that stereotypes what the fans of each system think. It has the Linux fans seeing Microsoft screw people with Windows, Steve Jobs cash in on people with Macs and Linux providing the ultimate OS. The Windows fans see Linux as only for programmers, whilst Macs are like smart looking toys for kids and Windows provides the best system. Finally, the Mac fans view Linux as dated and boring, whilst Windows is represented by the fatal error blue screen and the Mac is obviously the best choice. Having witnessed some of the OS arguments this really made me chuckle.

By the way, I recently bought a new laptop and love my Macbook Pro, but also still use my Windows powered desktop and have been happy with it for 6 years, so I don’t really understand all the fuss.
