It seems that referees are always getting abused. In soccer they are screamed at by players, managers and fans alike, with every decision they make called into question. Here we have a slightly more innovative example of abuse from the crowd as this ice hockey referee has a funny sign held up behind him with a cartoon thought bubble with the words “I’m the biggest idiot ever!“. It may be unfair, but it is also funny and luckily someone caught it on camera too, for posterity.
