Here is a funny joke and a BBC comedy sketch, featuring Bhangraman, skewering the ancient English art of Morris Dancing. I hope this doesn’t offend any Morris dancing readers of this blog. I heard recently that in some villages in England that the rugby team often resorts to going pub to pub Morris dancing in the summer, so be careful if you dish out to a Morris dancer, you may be biting off more than you bargained for.
Here is a short joke that combines political incorrectness with the need to lay a member of staff off. It throws in the battle of the sexes for good measure and we are left with a little word play that makes for some amusing reading, so enjoy today’s funny joke!
Here is a funny joke, which may be a funny real life story (I’m not sure). I do know that I immediately saw the male punctuation and my girlfriend saw the female version when looking at it. See what you think:
A woman was playing golf one day when she hit her ball into the trees beside the fairway. She went into the trees to look for it and found a frog in a trap. The frog said to her, “If you release me from this trap, I will grant you 3 wishes.” so the woman freed the frog.
A French teacher was explaining to her class that in French, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine, eg “house” is feminine – “la maison.” Whilst “pencil” is masculine – “le crayon”. A student asked, “What gender is ‘computer’?”
