Weird Al Jankovic is an American comedian whose work is mostly song parodies. One of his best, in my books, is this one, Amish Paradise. It was a parody of Gangsta’s Paradise, the hit song from Coolio featuring LV from the film Dangerous Minds starring Michelle Pfeiffer. Whereas the original song spoke of the dangers of the singers gangster lifestyle, whist Weird Al‘s version sings the praises of the simple Amish life.
